Founded in 1980 under the Cooperative Society Act, 1962, OMFED is the apex dairy cooperative of the state – built to uplift rural dairy farmers and connect them with urban consumers.

We collect fresh milk from thousands of dairy farmers daily, ensuring fair pricing and transparency.

With 12 modern dairy plants, including UHT and A2 milk facilities, OMFED processes over 6 lakh litres per day of milk & turning into high-quality Paneer, Ghee, Curd, Butter, Sweets, Lassi and other dairy products.

Our Journey at a Glance
1980: OMFED was born under Operation Flood‑II in the 3 tier system of cooperative.
1981–2000s: Expansion into districts, plants, cattle feed units, and milk unions
2009–2025: Modernisation with UHT milk, Ice Cream plants, A2 milk, and Smart Packaging
